Pastor L. E. Anderson, Jr., was born in Modesto, California to Barbara Anderson and the late Lonnie E. Anderson, Sr. He is the youngest of 5 children.
Since 2002, Pastor Lonnie E. Anderson, Jr. has served as Senior Pastor of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Kokomo, Indiana.
The Mount has experienced overwhelming growth spiritually and numerically. Pastor Anderson also led The Mount to open a private school, the F.D. Reese Christian Academy in 2009. With the Lord’s help, he published his first book, Partnering with Pastors and Church Leaders: Closing the Back Door in 2015.
Pastor Anderson holds a dual B.A. in Christian Education and in Pastoral Studies from Selma University, then continued his studies there, earning an M.A. in Biblical Studies. He has since earned an M.Div. in Pastoral Ministries from Grace Theological Seminary, where he presently serves as an adjunct professor while pursuing his D. Min., in Church Leadership.
Pastor Anderson and his wife, Patricia, have four adult children and two grandsons who they enjoy spoiling.
